Question Cube Game

Materials:
• One cube (or numbers 1–6 on the board)

Instructions:
• Write the following on the board:
1. Who
2. What
3. When
4. How many
5. Is / Are
6. Free choice

• Put pupils into pairs.
• Let one pupil roll the cube.
• The number shows the question word.
• The pupil makes a correct question using the question words.
• The other pupil answers the question.
Example:
Number: 3 (When)
Pupil A: When is your birthday?
Pupil B: It is in January.
Number: 4 (How many)
Pupil A: How many pupils are there in the garden?
Pupil B: There are four pupils.
